Northbridge Chinatown Tour - Details

Most tours run on Saturday mornings, but private tours can also be arranged to cater for your group.

The tours start at 9.30am and we meet outside Lucky Import and Export Co, 112 Brisbane Street, Perth. This shop is in the one-way section between Beaufort and William Streets. We will spend an hour wandering through this vibrant store full of foods from all around Asia. As we leave the store, having sampled something a "bit different" we make our way down to William Street. Most people have driven along this street through the heart of Chinatown, but most have not stopped to look and shop along the way. Take the break and immerse yourself in this tour. The next one and a half hours are spent wandering through many of the different produce shops along this street, while Pauline points out various products and discusses how to use them in your home. You will come away feeling exhilarated and now knowing that you have the availablity of all these products right on your doorstep!

Our tour concludes with the group sitting down to enjoy a sumptuous Chinese lunch. It may be dim sum lunch or an la carte meal, depending on the size, or at the request of the group. Approximate finish time is 1.00pm.

Tour cost is $85, inclusive of lunch, gift bag and tastings along the way.

Tours require a minimum of 5 persons and groups are kept small (10) to allow for the best individual attention.
